Trend: Printed Denim

Hello Friends!

Are you a printed denim fan?  I originally thought this would be something that I'd pass on but found myself loving them.  It's a trend that I would not spend a lot on, well actually, if you know me well you know that I love a bargain on EVERYTHING!!!  But, as far as this trend goes, I wouldn't put it under the category of classic.  This one is definitely trendy.  When something is more fun and trendy, I always question how long it will last.  So with that said, this is not an investment piece.  You can find these great printed jeans for $20 - $30 at Target, Old Navy, Kohl's or the like.  They're not going to break the bank and adds a bit of fun and whimsy to your wardrobe.

Trend: Ballet Flat Bliss

Hello Friends!

The most comfortable staple I have in my wardrobe is the ballet flat.  I love them!  I love them with jeans, skirts, dresses, shorts, you name it, it works.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Ballet Flat Bliss

This is a trend that continues to work each and every season.  This season we're seeing the embellished flat.  Studded out, rhinestones or beading add a touch of fun and flare.   Another great trend is the metallic toe, #1.  I don't own a pair of these yet, but can't wait to get my hands on some.  What do you think of these trends?

Love me some dots...

Hello friends,

I'm so happy to report that not only is fall fashion out in full force, but the weather allowed for some of us to wear some of it.

Burgandy is one of the IT colors of the season.  Actually, jewel tones in general seem to be the happenin' hues.  I loved these F21 Skinnies from last fall and they pair so well with one of my new fall additions:  this great Gap shirt.  A simple plain colored or printed, collared shirt is a must for your wardrobe.  Pair it with any colored denim, blue denim, sweaters, and the list goes on.  Get a few of these great shirts and you'll find yourself wearing them more than you think.

Have you gotten yourself a statement necklace yet?  I adore them and they make an outfit so easy to put together.  A simple t-shirt and jeans or shorts with one of these and you're set!

I have a few that I love but I've been eyeing these beauties for a while now.  I just can't decide which one I like better.

Trend: Black & White

Hi Friends!

Have you seen this fun new trend?  Spring Fashion is all about fun prints, lace, mixing prints and head-to-toe black and white.  All of us have black and white in our closets.  This has to be one of the easiest and most accessible trends today.  Keep it to those two colors and you're set!!

This was my outfit to see Cirque du Soleil:  Quidam.  It was an amazing show!  My hubby and I went as a 7 year anniversary treat to ourselves.  We had a wonderful time and the entertainment was top notch.  I would love to see a few more performances.  The acrobatics, lights and overall show is incredible.

It's A Green Thing!

Hello Friends!

January is upon us and it feels like all the hype of the holidays have wrapped up and now we're left to wait for the next big thing - Spring!!!  But before we get too excited for what's to come, we can get excited about what's here.

Pantone's color of the year is the most beautiful Emerald Green.  This is one of the richest and most flattering colors.  I love this jewel tone like no other, and yet looking at my closet I have just a few pieces.  Luckily one of my favorite affordable stores, Old Navy, is already stocked with some great pieces to add to my wardrobe.

Will you be wearing Emerald Green this year?

Hugs,
